GW-27.5 series outdoor HV disconnector is suitable for AC 50Hz electrified railway system. It can not only switch for 27.5kV railway catenary HV circuits or substations without current, but also provide electrical isolation between the HV electrical equipment such as HV busbar and circuit breaker under maintenance and live HV circuits. The product is made up of metal base, insulating post and conductive parts. It is divided into two kind of structures, namely vertical opening and horizontal opening. This disconnector can be fitted with the earthing switch. It has two types: earthing switch with earthing knife-switch and that without earthing knife-switch.
The double-pole disconnector consists of two sets of single-pole earthing switches. The two sets of switches are synchronously opened and closed through a connecting rod.
It adopts the external pressure contact structure, and its surface is hard silver plated to improve the conductive reliability.
The fixed soft connection is adopted between terminals to carry current. The upper and lower ends of the terminal block are provided with insulating sleeves to ensure reliable flow and flexible rotation. The terminal block integrates with the outlet post, which reduces a possible heating point.
The bearing pedestal is fully-sealed to prevent rainwater and dust from corroding its rotating bearings. Lubricating grease coated on the bearing surface works under the temperature between -40℃and 120℃ to ensure that no lubrication failure occurs in extremely hot or cold regions.
All transmission shaft pins are made of stainless steel; the rotating parts uses Igus engineering plastic bearing imported from Germany to replace the brass shaft sleeve; the drive parts adopt stainless steel joint bearing to stop the revolving shaft from getting rusty and ensure flexible rotation for a long time.
