Product Introduction

The basic principle of SVG (Static Var Generator, also known as STATCOM) is to parallel self-commutated bridge circuit with the power grid through reactor or transformer. Through the proper regulation of phase and amplitude of bridge circuit AC output voltage, or the direct control of current, the device makes the circuit absorb or deliver the qualified reactive current, and then achieve the purpose of dynamic reactive power compensation.

  • Fast Response Speed

    SVG response time: ≤5ms

    SVG can complete the mutual conversion from rated capacitive reactive power to rated inductive reactive power in a very short time, and be competent for the impact load compensation.

High Security

SVG is controlled as the current source during the operation, so there is no possibility of resonance with the system impedance.

  • Diversified Compensation Functions

    The single SVG device has the following functions:

    Load reactive compensation;

    Load harmonics compensation;

    Load unbalance compensation;

    Load reactive, harmonic and unbalance compensation at the same time.

  • Low Harmonic Content

    The carrier phase-shifting modulation technology is adopted to achieve high frequency low pulse and low harmonic content of output current.

  • Small Floor Area

    PWM reactive power compensation, no parallel capacitor with large-capacity, small floor area.
