Product Introduction

VSV-12M indoor high voltage AC vacuum circuit breaker is suitable for three-phase AC power system with the rated frequency of 50Hz and the rated voltage of 12kV. Boasting the ability of fast reclosing and standing frequent operations, the breaker is widely used to control and protect electrical devices in substations, power plants, industrial and mining enterprises, airports and buildings.


VSV-12M indoor high voltage AC vacuum circuit breaker conforms to such national standards as GB 1984-2014 High Voltage AC Circuit Breaker, JB/T3855-2008 High Voltage AC Vacuum Circuit Breaker, DL/T 403-2000 Technical Requirements on Ordering 12kV~40.5kV Indoor AC High Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breakers and relative regulations, IEC 62271-100、IEC 60694、IEC 62271-1, of the International Electrotechnical Commission.

Product Features

The totally enclosed pole has good electrical property.

The main loop of the VSV vacuum circuit breaker series is totally enclosed. Both insulated cylinder and embedded pole are accepted.

a) Insulated Cylinder

Components of the main loop are longitudinally installed in the insulated cylinder, which is made by epoxy resin by the APG craftsmanship, making the cylinder strong enough and highly resistant to electric arc and aging. Meanwhile, the structure can effectively prevent the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber from being affected by external factors such as shocks and dirt, making the loop stronger to stand rated short time peak withstand current.

b)  Embedded Pole (P Series)

The small-sized vacuum arc extinguishing chamber and other parts of the main loop are directly fixed and sealed in epoxy resin by the advanced APG craftsmanship, which not only simplifies the assembling of the pole and increases the reliability of the loop of the vacuum arc extinguishing chamber but also protects the surface of the arc extinguishing chamber from being influenced by external force and environment.

The circuit breaker has advanced design and excellent anti-corrosion performance.

The surface of the structure parts are made by Zn-Ni alloy which has strong resistance to corrosion, salt and fog. The transmission parts are made by Ni-P alloy which has strong strength and is highly resistant to friction and corrosion. And the oilless graphite drive bearings, which have strong strength and are highly resistant to friction, come from a famous international brand INA.

The breaker is C2 class.

The re-strike probability during opening of capacitative current of the breaker is very low ,meeting the requirement of C2 class.

The breaker is E2 class.

The breaker has passed all the experiments in Shenyang High Voltage Electric Equipment Research Institute Test Center and Xi’an High Voltage Electric Equipment Research Institute Test Center. It meets the requirement of E2 class. The full capacity short-circuit current of the low-current breaker opening reaches 30 times and the high-current 20 times.

The breaker is M2 class.

The breaker has mature integrated operation mechanism which is stable and reliable and has long mechanical life. Being able to be used in occasions that require frequent operations, the breaker meets the requirement of M2 level with the mechanical life reaching 30,000 times.

The breaker is fitted with excellent buffer.

The specially designed buffer reduces the overthrow in opening and the bouncing in closing and extends the mechanical life of the breaker.

The breaker is installed with the insulated tension pole made by nylon.

The insulated tension pole is made by imported nylon 66 added with glass fiber, guaranteeing strength and flexibility as well as electrical performance of the breaker.
